Why Choose an Oliveri Sink?
- Lifetime warranty: sinks bearing the Oliveri logo come with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.
- Quality stainless steel: Oliveri's stainless sinks are made from genuine 18/10, 304 grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.
- Australian heritage: several ranges, including Nu-Petite, are made in South Australia.
- Matching accessories: most ranges have fitted chopping boards, colanders, drainer trays and utility trays designed for the bowl.
Step 1: Choose Your Installation Type
Undermount sinks sit below the benchtop for a clean, seamless look and easy wipe-down. They suit solid surfaces such as stone, granite and quartz.
Topmount (inset) sinks drop into a cut-out from above, with the rim sitting on the bench. They work with every benchtop material, including laminate, and are usually simpler to install or replace.
Universal sinks can be installed either way, which gives you flexibility if you haven't locked in your benchtop yet.
Step 2: Stainless Steel, Granite or Coloured?
Stainless steel is the practical all-rounder — hygienic, hard-wearing and easy to match with any tap. Most Oliveri ranges are stainless.
Granite composite (the Santorini range) is made in Italy from 80% granite and quartz, and is heat resistant up to 280°C. It's a bold statement in black, matte black or white.

Coloured stainless (the Spectra range) gives you the strength of stainless steel with a coloured finish — gunmetal, black, brushed gold or copper.

Step 4: Pick Your Bowl Configuration
- Single bowl: ideal for smaller kitchens, or as a large single bowl for washing oversized pots and trays.
- Double bowl: wash in one, rinse or stack in the other — the classic family-kitchen setup.
- 1 & 1/2 or 1 & 3/4 bowl: a main bowl plus a smaller prep bowl, balancing capacity with bench space.
- With drainer: handy if you hand-wash often or don't have a dishwasher.
Always check your cabinet width and benchtop depth against the sink's specifications before ordering — and confirm the cut-out with your benchtop installer.
Step 5: Match Your Tap

Check how many tap holes your sink has (or whether it suits a bench-mounted tap), and match the finish to your sink. Oliveri's Essente mixers are made from 316 stainless steel, with gooseneck, pull-out and swivel options; Venice mixers come in chrome, brushed nickel and matte black.

Oliveri Sinks FAQs
What warranty do Oliveri sinks have?
Sinks bearing the Oliveri logo come with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. See oliveri.com.au for full terms.
Are Oliveri sinks made in Australia?
Some are. Ranges such as Nu-Petite are made in South Australia, while Santorini granite sinks are made in Italy. Oliveri designs all its sinks to its own specifications and quality standards.
Is undermount or topmount better?
Neither is better overall. Undermount gives a seamless look on stone benchtops; topmount suits any benchtop and is easier to install or replace.
Is a granite sink better than stainless steel?
Granite composite is heat resistant and makes a bold design statement, while stainless steel is lighter, hygienic and works with any style. It comes down to the look you want and how you use your kitchen.
